I worked on the suburban buildings together with ZiMing Guo, who made the final assets and destruction.
I made a bunch of prototypes trying out different solutions, but we quickly ran into instance cost, lighting issues, design issues, level art issues and so on. This was the best solution we found that worked with all the limitations we had. Quite fun with a bit of a challenge, and without the help I got from a few colleagues it would have been almost impossible, so a very big thank you to them!
